Alipal is me, Ali Bennett, a fully qualified Member of the Institute of Tourist Guiding and Licensed Driver Guide. This means I have completed the world renowned 2 year “Blue Badge” Guide Training. I have been qualified since 2002. If you book your tour with me you will get me. If I am not available on your date(s), I will refer you to another high-quality guide.

My special fondness for Americans, began when my father was a Military Attaché at the British Embassy in Washington DC. We did not live in the usual British enclave, but out-of-town in Bethesda, Maryland.

Since then I have been back many times to see friends in many parts of the country, including a 10,000 mile Greyhound Bus tour of North America in my late teens. One of my sons has married an American girl, became a US citizen in 2019 and lives in Ann Arbor, MI with my two young grandsons. Every year I go to a variety of places in the US promoting my services as a Blue Badge Guide as a guest of happy clients.

I am an empty nester now that my three sons are in their 30s and enjoy arranging extended tours away from home. I am able to provide a special personal vacation planning service.
