The UK have some magnificent public and private gardens. If you are particularly passionate about gardens, these would make an ideal special interest trip. I do not claim to be an expert botanist, but I know where their location and their history!

  Kew
The world famous Royal Botanic Gardens located in South West London near Richmond Park.
  Sissinghurst Castle
Located in Kent, it is famous for its White Garden and once home of Virginia Woolf.
  Great Dixter
Located close to Sissinghurst Castle, built in the early 20th century by Edwin Lutyens combining the exsiting mid-15th century house on the site. The garden is widely known for its continuous tradition of sophisticated plantsmanship.
  Hidcote Manor Garden
Located in the Cotswolds and best known for its influential Arts and Crafts Gardens and linked "rooms" of hedges, rare trees, shrubs and herbaceous borders.
  Kiftsgate
Close to Hidcote Manor, these two gardens make a great day out. Kiftsgate gardens are the creation of three generations of women gardeners starting in the 1920s. The gardens and views are stunning.
