Extended Tours

Many top tourist destinations are within a day trip from London, but it can be better to go on an extended tour, staying overnight away from London, rather than a series of day trips. This gives more time to enjoy the sights, with no long journey back to London each day.

I am equally comfortable providing an extended or day tour.

Please contact me in advance to arrange your extended tour; this will prevent booking a London hotel and hotels for the extended trip. (I can also recommend hotels for you to research.)

		For example, an extended tour in the West Country, could include Stonehenge, Bath, and the Costwolds and a stays in a beautiful country house hotel, B&B, or even a castle!

		Another example is North Wales, which includes small winding roads in beautiful mountains. It has the largest concentration of castles in the world. An extended tour will allow you to take in several castle and stay in the wonderful fantasy Italianate village Portmeirion. The whole village is the hotel with a great view across the bay.

		If ecology is your thing, you may want to visit the world-famous Eden Project in Cornwall. This is too far from London to do in a day, so an extended tour is the best solution and you could take in other Cornish attractions, such as the Lost Gardens of Heligan, as well as breaking the journey at other attractions on the way, such as Stonehenge.
